The 3M Secure Click FF-800 is the right call if you want combined eye and lung protection in one mask and you’re not locked into a legacy cartridge inventory. It runs on D-series Secure Click cartridges only — a proprietary click-engagement system that audibly confirms the cartridge is seated before you walk onto the job. Add the world’s first quad-flow cartridge design (four airflow paths instead of the standard two), a one-touch push-button seal check, and a built-in speaking diaphragm, and this is a materially better mask to live in for a full shift than the older 6000-series bayonet respirators. The 3M Secure Click FF-800 is a NIOSH-approved full-face air-purifying respirator rated APF 50, built on the D-series Secure Click platform. If you’re ordering for yourself and you’re unsure of your size, order the FF-802 Medium — it fits the majority of adult faces. Use 3M’s published panel-test sizing guide (face length chin-to-nose-bridge, face width cheekbone-to-cheekbone) to narrow it down, then confirm with an OSHA-required fit test before first use. OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134 mandates fit testing for all tight-fitting respirators.
