The Supreme® Pro uses well-shielded microphones to provide accurate stereo sound reproduction, allowing wearers to localize sounds and hear spoken conversation naturally at safe amplification levels. The instant the microphone detects sound above the cut-off threshold, the active circuitry compresses the input — protecting against impulse noise from gunfire, impact tools, explosive blasts, and other sudden high-decibel events — then restores amplification within milliseconds when the hazard passes.
