How to Match the 3M Cartridge to Your Hazard

Step 1 — confirm it's organic vapor. Check the SDS Section 8. Solvents, thinners, ketones, alcohols and most coatings list organic vapor; the 6001 OV bed is the match.

Step 2 — is particulate also present? Spray mist, sanding dust or grinding swarf means you need P100. Either add a 501 retainer + prefilter to a 6001, or buy the all-in-one 60921 OV/P100.
