EDITORIAL REVIEW: 4.5/5 β€” WC Safety Review of the Ergodyne ProFlex 9002, full-finger anti-vibration work gloves with an integrated wrist wrap.
Editorial assessment by Steven Eaton, WC Safety editor, based on published Ergodyne specifications and category fit. We did not laboratory-test this product.

The Ergodyne ProFlex 9002 takes the certified palm that defines a real vibration glove and builds a work glove around it: full-finger coverage for the hand, AVC damping under the grip, and an integrated wrist wrap for the joint that repetitive tool work quietly grinds down. ANSI S2.73 and ISO 10819 certified β€” measured protection, not marketing foam.

Where full-finger anti-vibration work gloves fit

Vibration injury doesn't stop at the palm β€” white finger is named for where the damage shows first. When the job runs demolition hammers, grinders, or chainsaws for real blocks of time, covered fingers and a supported wrist earn their heat penalty: the 9002 keeps the certified damping under the grip while extending protection to the digits that half-coverage vibration gloves leave exposed. The wrist wrap addresses the other repetitive-load casualty of sustained trigger time. For the standards, HAVS mechanics, and when each format wins, start at the anti-vibration reference guide and the full AV collection.

Safety first: certified transmissibility comes from laboratory grip conditions β€” real-world attenuation depends on fit, grip force, and the tool, so gloves are one layer of a vibration program alongside maintained tools, sharp consumables, and capped trigger time. The wrist wrap is ergonomic support, not a medical brace. Numbness or tingling that outlasts the shift is a medical signal β€” act on it early, because vibration damage is permanent.

What the listing documents

From the listing: certification to ANSI/ASA S2.73-2014 and ISO 10819:2013 for measured reduction in vibration transmissibility across the palm; AVC (Anti-Vibration Coating) palm padding; full-finger coverage that maintains tactile feedback for tool control; an integrated wrist wrap supporting the wrist through repetitive motion; sizes Small through 2X-Large. Five sizes matter more here than on most gloves β€” a certified pad only performs when it sits exactly under your grip.

Picking inside the ProFlex vibration family

Ergodyne splits the category by coverage and duty: the open-back 9000 is the lightweight all-shift baseline, this 9002 is the full-finger step with wrist support, the 9003 and 9012 vary shell and utility, and the 9015FX adds TPR dorsal impact armor for combined vibration-and-impact work. The choosing questions don't change: certified, and comfortable enough to stay on. Some crews call them anti vibe gloves and buy on padding thickness β€” thickness isn't the spec; the certification is.

Vibration reducing gloves vs the impact shelf

Don't cross-shop by armor. Impact gloves β€” the ProFlex 925FX, 925WP, and A7 cut-impact 7070 in the impact collection β€” protect knuckles from strikes; vibration reducing gloves damp oscillation at the palm. Different physics, different standards. The cut-vs-impact explainer and impact roundup cover that shelf; the mechanics roundup and mechanics collection handle general tool work.

Ownership and program fit

Measure against Ergodyne's size chart β€” with five sizes available, "large by default" wastes the pad geometry the certification depends on. Inspect the palm monthly under heavy use and retire the pair when padding compresses or fingertips wear through. Build the rest of hand protection by hazard: cut-rated gloves where edges live (levels mapped in the complete cut guide and mechanics cut picks), leather for abrasion, and the wider trade glove lineup between. These really do cut down the vibrations.
I have just spent the day using an angle grinder wearing these gloves. My hands would usually be numb/tingling from this but I'm happy to say my hands feel fine.I'm not sure how long they will last as I have some small cuts in them already, even though I was being careful. I was also only using them when grinding as due to their construction they don't have much abrasion resistance. Due to this I think they are a little high priced but seeing they are protecting my nerves I will more than likely buy them again. The size chart is wacky....I am usually a large in gloves and the large fit me fine. At the start of the day they were a little tight but were stretched and more comfortable at the end of the day.If you want to protect yourself from nerve damage I would recommend these, but I would also only recommend using them during activities that produce vibrations and swap them out with regular hard wearing gloves other times.

still lackluster regulations and standards
AVH and HAVS syndrome are still being studied, this is better than nothing but still take fequent breaks and hold loosely.

They DO reduce vibration effects and felt vibration from a lawn mower
These gloves work. Definitely effective, and better than the anti-vibration gloves I had previously. Rated at 4 stars because the little fingers were oddly a little too tight - although they have pushed out some and aren't bad now. I can't yet comment on durability, but I'm going to guess that these are one or two summer gloves based on the construction. At least as far as I can tell at this point. I've used them for about 6 weekends working on a small lawn pushing a gas powered mower (not power drive assisted). They also are likely to be a little bit on the warm side, but absolutely worth it for their vibration reduction.

QUALITY IS POOR
I had high hopes for these, as other Ergodyne products I have used were great! However, these gloves miss the mark in several ways. They are too thick to be useful for most tasks using the vibrating tools they are supposed to help with. The quality is terrible. Stitching falling apart, rubber peeling, large bundles of fabric cause pain in the fingers etc. I wanted to love these as I really need them. I guess the search continues for a good anti-vibration glove.

Good Work Antivibration Glove
I suffer from carpal tunnel in both hands. These gloves reduce the amount of vibration on my hands from the power equipment I use on a daily basis. This is my 3rd pair purchased over the last 3 years. I am very rough with the gloves and they last me approximately 9 months. Will continue to purchase as long as they are available.

Great anti vibration gloves!
My husband started a construction job with a lot of jackhammering (13 hr days of non stop jackhammering) and his hand were swelling up so bad he had paws not hands. It was a bit scary to see. We purchased these for him to use and they worked great! No more crazy swollen paws! If anything happens to these I will absolutely buy another set!

Gloves fit well but did not do much to dampen the vibrations
Gloves fit well but did not do much to dampen the vibrations. It did help a little and is better than no glove at all, but it did not work as well as it was advertised. Also the gloves were a little thick but we still useable for working the controls on my backpack blower.

Great for digging with pickaxes and shovels.
Excellent pair of gloves to wear while digging or shoveling. Reduces strain on Palm and Wrist thus protecting against carpal tunnel and trigger finger syndromes. Love it. Just don’t use it for moving soil by hand as it can rip after a little while.
