Disposable latex gloves with working thickness β€” SAS Dyna Grip, 7 mil

Most disposable latex gloves are exam-weight film that shop work destroys before the job is half done. The SAS Safety Dyna Grip takes the disposable format and gives it a 7 mil working wall: enough material for automotive grime, janitorial rounds, and general shop handling, while keeping the latex dexterity that makes latex gloves the default for fine work. It ships powder-free, so nothing transfers to parts, glass, or finished surfaces. Material still undecided? The how to choose disposable gloves walkthrough and the nitrile vs latex vs vinyl reference compare the three polymers head-on.

In practice the Dyna Grip works as everyday latex work gloves: pulled on for an oil change or a cleaning pass, inspected, and swapped when done. As 7 mil latex gloves they sit squarely between exam-weight film and the 13-14 mil heavy shop gauges.

Key features

  • 7 mil natural rubber latex β€” a working gauge in a disposable format
  • Powder-free finish: no residue transfer to parts or surfaces
  • Industrial grade, specified for automotive, janitorial, and general shop work
  • One stocked configuration β€” the linked Amazon listing carries the size run
  • SKU 650-1001; sold by the box through the linked listing

Pros & cons

Pros
  • More wall than exam-weight disposables, most of the dexterity
  • Powder-free β€” clean on parts, glass, and finished work
  • Live Amazon pricing and size run on the linked listing
Cons
  • Natural rubber latex β€” wrong pick for latex-sensitized wearers
  • Mid gauge β€” abrasion-heavy work still favors 13-14 mil lines

What the Dyna Grip is for

Keep it where gloves get changed often but bare hands are never right: fluid changes, parts cleaning, janitorial chemistry at routine dilutions, paint-prep wipe-downs. It lives in the latex gloves collection alongside our trade gloves; oil-dominant bays should also weigh the best nitrile gloves for mechanics guide, and cleaning crews the best nitrile gloves for cleaning guide, since sustained oils and some chemistries argue for nitrile. Employers documenting hand protection under OSHA 1910.132 should record the assessment behind the pick.

Sensitized to natural rubber? Choose nitrile

Latex sensitivity rules out every glove on this page. The direct substitutes are in the nitrile gloves collection β€” the nitrile gloves complete guide maps the family, and light-duty users can also consider the best vinyl gloves guide and the vinyl gloves collection.

How the Dyna Grip compares

Within our latex wall the Dyna Grip is the mid-gauge disposable. Below it in thickness, the Ansell Microflex Diamond Grip β€” profiled in our Diamond Grip review β€” is the thin-gauge grip benchmark; the Sempermed Semperguard covers straightforward industrial duty. Above it, the 13 mil Gloveworks HD and 14 mil Adenna Hero take over when abrasion wins, and SAS's own Thickster line is the in-brand step up. For chemical-specific work, leave latex and match polymer to hazard in the chemical-resistant gloves collection.

Safety note: match this glove to your hazard assessment. A 7 mil disposable latex glove for grime and incidental splash is not chemical splash hazard protection for concentrated or immersion work, carries no cut rating, and natural rubber is off-limits for anyone with a latex allergy. No disposable glove substitutes for the engineering controls your task requires.

Ordering FAQ

Which size of the SAS Dyna Grip latex gloves should I order?
We stock one configuration and the linked Amazon listing carries the manufacturer's size run. A working disposable should fit close without pinching the palm; between sizes, most users size up.

Are the SAS Dyna Grip gloves in stock and ready to ship?
Yes β€” this listing is active and ships through Amazon. Open the linked listing for live availability, size options, and delivery speed.

How many Dyna Grip gloves come in a box?
Pack count is shown on the linked Amazon listing for the configuration you select β€” confirm it there before ordering.

Can I stock a shop or facility with the Dyna Grip?
Yes β€” order multiple boxes across sizes through the linked listing; mixed-size orders are the norm for crews.

What is the SAS Dyna Grip built for?
Automotive work, janitorial rounds, and general shop tasks that want more glove than exam-weight latex without stepping up to a heavy 13-14 mil gauge. Cut, impact, and chemical-immersion hazards belong to other glove families.

What does 7 mil mean compared with other latex gloves?
Mil is thousandths of an inch of glove wall. At 7 mil the Dyna Grip carries noticeably more material than common thin disposables while keeping most of the dexterity β€” a middle gauge between exam-weight and heavy shop latex.

Why does powder-free matter?
No donning powder means no residue on parts, glass, or cleaned surfaces β€” the standard specification for shop and janitorial work. The trade-off is a slightly firmer pull-on with damp hands.

Can people sensitized to natural rubber use the Dyna Grip?
No β€” it is natural rubber latex. Choose a nitrile equivalent; the nitrile gloves collection carries powder-free industrial options with a similar feel.

Can I use the Dyna Grip with cleaning or automotive chemicals?
For routine dilutions and incidental splash, yes β€” that is its role. For concentrated chemicals or immersion, match the polymer to the specific chemical via your safety data sheets and the chemical-resistant gloves collection.

Are Dyna Grip gloves single-use?
Treat them as short-cycle disposables: inspect before wear, and discard at any tear, thin spot, or swelling. The 7 mil wall buys working time, not permanence.

Should I buy the Dyna Grip or a heavier latex glove?
If you want dexterity-first coverage for shop and cleaning tasks, the 7 mil Dyna Grip fits. If your work tears mid-gauge gloves, move to the 13 mil Gloveworks HD or 14 mil Adenna Hero β€” thickness is the axis that separates our latex lines.

Are these exam-grade gloves?
No exam designation is claimed on this listing β€” treat them as industrial work gloves and choose an exam-designated listing if your workplace requires one.

How do I reorder the SAS Dyna Grip gloves later?
Reorder from this page β€” the product listing and its linked Amazon ASIN stay constant, so a repeat order takes seconds.

Best glove for tough work
I originally used these gloves when I worked for Chevrolet back in 2008. I loved how they were tough enough to stand up to the work I was doing, yet they weren't so thick you couldn't put them on. These are the best of both worlds; tough and flexible. I've used them in contact with a number of different chemicals. The only one that seems to distort them is gasoline. They are a little more expensive than the gloves you see in the stores but I've used those and they couldn't even function as toilet paper. These are, by far, my favorite gloves to use in any situation. And because they are dental certified (I think) I use them when I cook with things like garlic so that my hands don't smell. I love them.

Only gloves I use now.
I use a lot of gloves for working on cars mostly, but also other household projects. I used to just grab whatever was at the car parts place, but after buying these I won't buy anything else. They seem to be thicker than others, and almost never rip, which used to happen a lot working in engine bays, etc. I even find myself re using them if they don't get real dirty.

great product
I learned about these at sema 2013 and was quite impressed with the durability. I will keep using this product and it is about 10% cheaper through amazon than store retail when you find it. Great product great durability.

Extreme flexibility and tactile feedback
I love these gloves for delicate electronic and mechanical work. They provide excellent tactile feedback while protecting my hands from dust, dirt and oils. For heavier duty work I like Nitrile gloves, but the advantage these latex gloves have over Nitrile gloves is the superior flexibility and tactile experience I like having when doing delicate work.
