EDITORIAL REVIEW: 4.6/5 — WC Safety Review of the Ansell Microflex Diamond Grip MF-300, a premium latex glove for those who prefer it.
Editorial assessment by Steven Eaton, WC Safety editor, based on published Ansell specifications and category fit. We did not laboratory-test this product.

The Ansell Microflex Diamond Grip MF-300 is a 4.7-mil natural rubber latex glove with a Diamond Grip texture, chosen by food, clinical, and lab workers who prefer latex for its elasticity, tactile sensitivity, and comfort. It is a premium natural rubber option — with the important caveat that it is not for anyone with a latex sensitivity.

Why the Ansell Microflex Diamond Grip is chosen for feel

For workers who can wear latex, nothing else quite matches its elasticity and fingertip feel — and the Diamond Grip MF-300 is a premium example. Its 4.7-mil natural rubber film and raised diamond texture deliver secure wet-and-dry grip and the tactile sensitivity that butchery, sushi and fine-food work, and clinical tasks depend on. It is the latex pick for people who prefer latex and have no sensitivity to it. As latex gloves go, this is the premium-feel choice, and the nitrile-vs-latex guide and nitrile exam-glove guide cover the material choice. It is comfort and feel for latex users.

Safety first: the MF-300 is a natural rubber latex glove, so it can cause a latex allergy reaction and is not appropriate for latex-allergic patients or workers — anyone with a latex sensitivity should choose a nitrile glove from the nitrile gloves collection instead. Latex chemical resistance is lower than nitrile and it is incompatible with many solvents and oils, so verify compatibility against Ansell's chemical resistance chart before any chemical-contact use; it is not a cut glove. See the nitrile-glove guide for latex-free options.

What the Ansell Microflex Diamond Grip listing documents

From the published specs: a natural rubber latex construction; a 4.7-mil thickness; a Diamond Grip texture; and box-of-100 and case-of-1000 pack options across sizes. These are true natural rubber latex gloves credentials and a genuine set of diamond grip gloves — premium disposable latex gloves for food and clinical work. The trade-off is feel and comfort in exchange for the latex-allergy and chemical-resistance limits.

How the Ansell Microflex Diamond Grip compares to other gloves

For latex-free disposable protection, browse the nitrile gloves and vinyl gloves collections and the nitrile-vs-vinyl guide; for a reusable chemical glove, the nitrile Showa 730; for food-service disposables, the food-service nitrile guide; for powder options, the powdered-vs-powder-free guide; and for cleaning, the nitrile-for-cleaning guide. The black nitrile and orange nitrile guides cover heavy-duty disposables, and the purple nitrile guide covers exam-grade options.

Choosing the right disposable glove

Match material to task and to any latex sensitivity in the crew. For durable reusable chemical work, the chemical-resistant gloves collection; for cut hazards, the cut-resistant gloves collection; for heavy-duty disposables, the heavy-duty nitrile guide; for the mechanic's bench, the nitrile-for-mechanics guide; and always verify chemical compatibility on the manufacturer's chart.

Where it fits by job and team orders

The MF-300 suits food processors, clinical and dental practitioners, and lab workers who prefer latex feel and have confirmed no latex sensitivity in the crew. Because a single latex-sensitive worker changes the calculus for a whole team, many operations standardize on nitrile and reserve latex only where its feel is genuinely needed. Keep a nitrile option on hand for latex-allergic staff and for solvent tasks, verify task compatibility, and replace gloves when torn or contaminated. Best Latex Gloves
Fast shipping. Good quality Latex examination gloves (heavy duty thickness). Great value. I use these for all kinds of small engine repair work. Fit is great and the durability is better than other brands. If you need Latex gloves, this is the brand to choose. I've tried other brands and they just don't hold up like the Ansell Microflex do.

Good Quality Microflex 300 XL Latex Gloves
I'm not a medical professional, so I'm no expert on daily wear of gloves. But I have had some biohazard training, and I researched gloves carefully before ordering these. I'm pleased with these, and here's my review:1. These are XL size (each glove size in this model has its own separate Amazon listing). They fit my average-large hands very comfortably and with just enough room to spare--I'm 6.0" and 180 lbs and I normally wear a Large in work gloves or dress leather gloves, and I am glad I took the advice to order one size larger to XL. Good move.MOST ADULT AMERICAN MALES ARE SIZE XL. Police, EMTs and my own biohazard training agree on that. For most men, it's worth it to get XL size. These are powderless (powder can become a vehicle for both particles and viruses/bacteria) which is nice. They don't need lubrication. They go on easily. There's a very slight texture to the fingertips, you can barely see it yet it's helpful in gripping things. The glove extends about 2 inches up your wrist, which is an improvement over those Dollar Store 10-packs.2. I can't vouch for durability yet but these seem rugged. My past experience has mostly been with cheapo 10-pack gloves intended for painting or household/shop chores, and these Microflex are clearly thicker and more durable than the cheapo's.Other listing's specs indicate that these are 6.1 micron thick, but this listing specs do not say and I don't see it on the box. These XL also allow just enough room for your hands to flex a little inside without being 'skin tight'--and that's a good thing. Gloves stretched skin tight are much more likely to rip and tear when you don't want them to. These XL Microflex have just enough looseness. Trust me, you'll appreciate that when you get them on.3. Ivory, almost yellowish color. Translucent but not transparently see-through like the thinner cheapo gloves. Easy to see any kind of chemical (blood, body fluids) on the glove. These are comfortable to wear for some time (an hour or more) which is where a looser fit is an advantage again. These are latex.4. These are great for yard work, painting, working with greasy tools like autos/bike chains, messing around with chemicals etc. You can wash dishes in these (it's the scrubber that puts wear on any dishwashing glove). For my household purposes these are fine. At $15 delivered for 100, I'd have paid $10 plus tax for 10 packs of 10 each at a dollar store, and considering the huge quality upgrade, I think $15 for these is more than reasonable. I'm tossing sets of these, in sandwich size ziplock bags, into all my First Aid kits (replacing those Dollar Store cheapo gloves I was using before).I'm satisfied. No complaints. For those primarily interested in medical/virus/influenza/Ebola protection, check out the Microflex 375's. Thicker (6.1 ML) than the 300's and cost not that much more. I'm not equipped to evaluate one glove over another for World War Z, but thicker is obviously better.I didn't buy these specifically for an Ebola Apocalypse, but I'm glad I have these because the SARS episode proved that basic supplies like these (and masks, like the 3M 8000's) become sold out and unavailable very fast. If a situation develops where average citizens are choosing (or are advised) to wear gloves to the ATM or gas pump or shopping cart to minimize transmission risk, I'll be glad to have these on hand--pardon the pun.Good gloves for the non-professional. Good value at $15 delivered. Shelf life is many years. I'm pleased.Hope this is helpful. Happy trails and stay safe, everybody.

Technician's Great Choice
Have bought these for about 9 years now for everyday wrenching. They hold up and even when caught sometimes on sharp surfaces they stretch instead of just ripping. They fit great on your hands. The quality for the most part is great. I re-use the same gloves sometimes throughout the day and they take the abuse from doing suspension, brake and engine work. Only reason I dont have it at 5 stars is because lately the last 6 boxes or so I'm not sure what's going on, but they've been stuck on the inside of the fingers or thumb. When trying to un-stick it in order to put them on they just rip at times or have small holes. Haven't had that issue in the 9 years I've bought them till about the last 6 orders or so. Don't know if it's my luck or the change in design material?I'd still recommend them, but I did want to put that warning out there. Hopefully they correct it soon

Good gloves for automotive work.
Great gloves that don't tear easily if at all. Not too thick for comfort and dexterity, but also very durable. Perfect for cleaning and automotive work. Size is accurate also. Highly recommended.

Tearing gloves
Im a huge fan of these gloves, but opening the second box(1000 count) has been disappointing. About 20 gloves have ripped from me trying to unstick them from themselves no matter how careful I have been and still have 30 left in the box. Maybe this box is a one off, but could see it being an issue if the storage it was in was excessively hot.
