GVS Elipse Integra P100 Respirator Overview

The GVS Elipse Integra P100 Respirator (SPR549) is a NIOSH-approved P100 half mask with integrated goggles, in size Small/Medium, that captures at least 99.97% of airborne particles while its built-in polycarbonate lens adds impact eye protection.

As the GVS Elipse Integra, this GVS SPR549 is a P100 respirator with goggles and an integrated goggle half mask respirator β€” a genuinely low profile P100 respirator for dusty, misty work.

It uses a lightweight, latex- and silicone-free TPE facepiece and ships ready to use with two replaceable P100 filters. It is particulate-only; for gases, GVS offers Integra Multigas and OV/P100 versions, and the filters are GVS-specific, not universal. Learn more in best P100 filter comparison and are respirator cartridges universal.

Who It Is For

Use case Fit Buyer guidance
Dust, mist & particulate Purpose-built P100: 99.97% efficiency.
Eye + lung protection together Purpose-built Integrated impact goggle.
Latex-sensitive workers Strong Latex- and silicone-free TPE.
Gases or vapors Choose gas media Use an Integra Multigas or OV/P100.
Liquid chemical splash Add splash goggle Impact lens is not a splash seal.

This respirator protects only within limits. A P100 removes particulate, but it does not add oxygen and does not remove gases or vapors, so no air-purifying respirator like this one may be used in an oxygen-deficient or IDLH atmosphere β€” those require a supplied-air respirator or a self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA). It only works on a fit-tested, clean-shaven face with medical clearance under an OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134 program, and the integrated lens is impact eye protection, not a sealed goggle for a chemical splash hazard, so add indirect-vented splash goggles where liquids can splash. For organic vapor or acid gas, switch to the GVS Integra Multigas or OV/P100 version rather than assuming the P100 covers gases, and use only GVS Elipse filters so the NIOSH approval stays valid. See the 1910.134 guide and best half-face respirator.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Elipse Integra NIOSH approved?

Yes. It is a NIOSH-approved P100 respirator under approval number TC-84A-8120. NIOSH approval applies to the complete assembly of the approved facepiece with its approved P100 filters, so use only the GVS Elipse filters listed on the approval.

What does P100 mean here?

P100 is a NIOSH particulate class: the filters capture at least 99.97% of airborne particles at 0.3 microns and are oil-proof. It is the highest particulate efficiency class. P100 filters particles only, not gases or vapors.

Does it protect against gases or vapors?

No. The SPR549 is a particulate-only P100. For organic vapor, acid gas, or multigas exposure, GVS offers Elipse Integra OV/P100 and Multigas versions; match the media to your specific hazard rather than assuming a P100 covers gases.

Are the built-in goggles a chemical splash goggle?

No. The integrated goggles are impact-rated polycarbonate with antifog and anti-scratch coatings, rated to 45 m/s. They are impact eye protection, not a sealed chemical-splash goggle; for a liquid splash hazard use indirect-vented splash goggles.

Why combine a respirator and goggles?

Integrating the goggle with the mask improves the overall face fit, adds comfort, and reduces the mist or fog that can build up between a separate mask and goggles. It also means one strap system instead of two competing for space on your face.

Are the filters replaceable?

Yes. It ships ready to use with two replaceable P100 filters, and you swap them when breathing gets harder, on your program's schedule, or if they are damaged or wet. Replaceable filters make it more economical than a fully disposable respirator over time.

What size is the SPR549?

The SPR549 is the Small/Medium size. GVS also makes the SPR550 in Medium/Large. Choose the size that gives a proper seal for your face, and confirm the fit with a fit test before relying on it at work.

Is it latex-free?

Yes. The lightweight TPE facepiece is both latex- and silicone-free, which helps workers with latex sensitivities and avoids silicone where it is not wanted. Always confirm material compatibility with your own workplace requirements.

Do I still need a fit test?

Yes. Any tight-fitting respirator requires a fit test and a clean-shaven seal under OSHA 1910.134, plus medical clearance. The integrated goggle does not remove the need to fit test the mask to your specific face.

Will my glasses fit under the goggles?

The integrated goggle is designed to seal to the face, so bulky eyeglass frames can interfere with the goggle seal and the mask seal. If you need vision correction, consider contact lenses or ask about compatible options before buying.

Are GVS filters interchangeable with other brands?

No. Respirator filters are brand- and model-specific. The Elipse Integra uses GVS Elipse filters only, not 3M, Honeywell, or Moldex media. Using the wrong filter voids the NIOSH approval and the protection.

How do I clean and store it?

Wipe the facepiece and lens per the GVS instructions, avoid solvents that can craze polycarbonate, and store it clean and dry out of direct sunlight. Inspect the valves, seal, and lens before each use and replace worn parts.

Works great
I got this because I’m always working in areas where there’s lots of dust. This fits well easily adjustable and high-quality.

A good choice
I was proactive in the purchase of these goggles. H5N1 cases keep climbing in cattle, birds, pigs and humans. If things get really back (they could) I wanted to be prepared. Someone on social media recommended this pair as bird flu apparently can infect the eyes. Hope I won't need them but best to be prepared.

Need a case.
Be stupid careful where you store this. Plastic glass will shatter like safety glass. If you've got some kind of box to protect it, I would keep it in one if I were you. They should make some kind of case for it when they send it to you for that kind of price. On my second one now. πŸ˜’

An allergy must have
This is my second mask and goggles combo. First one lasted 3 mowing seasons and the goggles shield just got where I couldn't see thru it. The older I get the more susceptible I get to dust and pollen. I love this combo.

Works great until if fogs up, which is almost immediately
I ordered the Eclipse Integra P100 respirator with the mask to combine the breathing and eye protection into one unit. I thought that would prevent the dust from getting in my eyes that seems to get behind the normal safety glasses gaps. Also, wanted to prevent the glasses fogging up which happens no matter what mask or bendable metal band that is supposedly designed to prevent this despite what anyone claims to the contrary. The fit and function of the mask are perfect. However, within 5 mins of use the mask is fogging up to the point I couldn't see my stop cut line I was routing for my dado joint. I live in the south, which is always pretty humid, especially in the summertime, but the issue occurred throughout the winter as well, just took maybe 10 mins of use to fog up instead. Not much of difference if you wear it for several hours. I have to keep stopping to wipe it out. Also tried mask defog spray, Cat Crap anti fog, toothpaste, spit, and all the other tips suggested online. Nothing helps. The only reliable method to prevent fogging is to heat the clear mask up with a hair dryer prior to wearing so that it's the same temp as the heat radiated from your face and matches the dew point in the mask. Super annoying and hot in the summer. Would give 5 stars for comfort, fit, and function if not for the fogging issue. Maybe if you worked in an ac environment I would recommend.

Great seal. No fog. Great nose bridge design for small noses. Perfect for me
- Made in the UK- All face-touching pieces are soft TPE- 2 straps, fully adjustable- Weight is 6.944 ozThe difference in having an exhale valve is that it filters only your inhalations. Exhales aren't filtered. That leaves you safe from others, but others aren't safe from you ;)I have a pretty weird face and masks don't fit me easily. My cpap mask is a children's medium, for example. My eyes and nose are just close together so it's difficult for anything that fits over the nose bridge to not touch my eyes as well. This mask handles that very well. I felt no pressure on my eyeballs.I can sort of wear glasses but I should note I have very minimal size ones. The ear parts fit fine and unlike the half mask version of this, the mask nose does not interfere with my glasses. Having said that, the glasses themselves have to be smushed pretty close to my face. No distortion or uncomfortable fit. No fog at all. There was no interference with my vision at all.I have a pulse/ox meter, I lost no oxygen while wearing the mask. In fact, I found it easier to breathe in this mask than in the half mask (no valve) version. I have COPD and it's not easy to breathe and I had no trouble wearing this. It does not have an oxygen port but you could easily make one, if you're on oxy.Expiry date is 1/2026. That's also good but vac seal in mylar until needed and you'll get substantially more shelf life. The replacement filters run about $16 on Amz and that seems comparable to other brands.I made a couple of pix showing the filter replacement setup. That tiny white thing was, I thought, how you open the lock to replace it. It was not easy to do. Turns out, there's a larger white base to it, inside the mask, that's pretty easy to turn to unlock it, even for long nails. I could have wished that was in the info that came with but perhaps it'll be in replacement packaging.Overall I find it quite comfortable to wear, and I do not tolerate a lot of weight on my face well. The straps were soft enough and I'm really quite impressed with the nose bridge design. A solid 5 stars for me.This is my perfect mask.Don't forget to use the Smile.Amazon.com address - It's an Amazon program where many everyday things you buy will generate a small donation from Amazon to the charity of your choice at no cost to you. Fogs in all weather
This mask fogs in hot or cold weather and dry or humid places. I really wanted to like this mask so I’m disappointed to say I tried it in several different environments and found that the eyes fog up even with the vents at the top.Still searching for the best grinding and welding option that doesn’t weigh 2 pounds

Superb quality P100 mask; BEWARE, eyes not sealed, just a goggle; made in England
This "GVS Elipse Integra P100 Mask, Model SPR549, Size S/M" is a very high quality mask. It comes with a P100 filter, while it is replaceable and compatible with other GVS filters, and you have many other choices of filters depending on your needs (dust only, mold, odor, organic vapors, pesticides, acid gases etc..). The silicone is soft and comfortable and the 1-way exhale valve make breathing easy; allowing this mask to be worn with comfort even with extended period of time. The whole mask is lightweight and quite a bit less bulky than other products I had used (3M's). The adjustment and fitting is easy, just 2 straps; put the mouth/respirator part on, and pull back the head straps and the lower straps, then you are done. Be sure to check the sizing chart before purchasing tho.BEWARE, this is NOT a full face mask, I thought it is. The eyes portion is NOT sealed, hence, smoke and gas can still get in. It is only an integrated "goggle", a safety goggle. I only found out that this is not after I received it and examined it closely (then I found in the small print, that this is only a "goggle"). When I was fitting this mask on the eyes/lens portion, I found that the seal wasn't 100% conforming to my face, and then I also found venting holes on the seal, which lead me to look into it more and discovered the above. As far as a goggle goes, this is not a bad one. It is still very comfortable, it is very clear, great coverage and good protection; and I think for usage/environment where you can use some eye protection (eg. metal cutting/shaving), this is likely to give you better protection than just a pair of eye glasses. The lens are supposed to be anti mist and anti-scratch too. This product is designed and made in England. Definitely a quality and trustable product. Good price point for such a nice product. Just the respirator part generally cost this much, so I just consider the "goggle" part a bonus. This should be a 5-stars product; I only ding them a star due to the fact that they should really emphasize that this is not a "full face mask" (and it is only an integrated safety goggle).Thank you for reading this review, I hoped that this review & the pictures are helpful to you in support of your purchase decision.

FDA Authorized -- this is the real deal!
The S/M fits my face well, and the M/L fits my husband properly. To determine the fit, I put the mask on my face and easily tightened the straps and placed the palm of my hands over the filter grate. When I couldn't breathe with my hands covering the filter, I knew the fit was right. These respirators MUST be worn tight enough; if they're not, contaminated air will come in through the sides or chin area. I was unable to wear my glasses with the goggles, so if you wear glasses, you may want to get the GVS respirator without goggles.I did a bit of research and discovered that GVS is based in Italy. It is reassuring that their respirators are made in Italy, and not China. I know there are a lot of counterfeit masks and respirators out there. Thankfully, the CDC has a list of FDA-authorized respirators, listed by brand. GVS *IS* on the list, so this mask is the real deal.I wasn’t sure how long a filter could be safely used, so I e-mailed the company. Their helpful Customer Service rep e-mailed this reply promptly, which included the answer to my question, along with information for properly sanitizing and reusing the filters:===================================================================Filters should be changed once a month or more frequently if you find a resistance to breathing.
