It has no end-of-service-life indicator, so follow a written change schedule; 3M advises replacing it after 40 hours or 30 days in oil-aerosol-only environments, and sooner in harder conditions. It works only on a fit-tested, clean-shaven seal on a Secure Click HF-800 or FF-800 facepiece within an OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134 program, used in matched pairs, and you must match the media to your safety data sheets.
