Miller Electric Shade 5.0 Welding Safety Glasses
The Miller Electric 235658 is an ANSI Z87.1+ welding safety glass with a built-in Shade 5.0 infrared filter, designed for oxy-acetylene cutting, brazing, and medium gas welding operations. The shaded lens blocks the bright light and IR radiation of gas processes while the impact-rated polycarbonate base shields against sparks, slag, and flying debris.
Important: Shade 5.0 welding glasses are for lower-radiation gas work β they are not a substitute for a welding helmet during arc welding (MIG/TIG/stick), which requires a helmet with a much darker shade. Many welders also wear these under a helmet as secondary eye protection.
