Love the WIFI feature
My detectors were approaching 10 years old. Had smoke in the kitchen and could not silence it. Heard about the Wifi detectors and bought them. All work great and glad I did it. Hard to climb up a ladder every time to take care of detectors going off and mine are all interconnected so they all go off. Customer service great on one that I had problems with.

Quality Kidde Device
I own a slew of Kidde devices, and I decided to add 3 of these to my collection. I got all three of them set up in less than 10 minutes. I'm using them to monitor the air quality and temperature in three different rooms. So far, so good. They're working like a charm. They seem a little pricey, but when you consider what they do, you'd come to the same conclusion as me that these are essential for keeping your family safe and healthy.

Wifi / Smart App Connectivity Needs Improvement
Worked great until I upgraded my WiFi. Device reset procedures are hit or miss. After leaving detectors unplugged for a few hours the 8-9 second reset finally worked.

Fast and easy to setup, love the air quality monitoring too
After adding the smart smoke detector, I added one of these on each floor of our home. Even with other CO detectors its great to have these paired to my phone in case of an emergency. Having the air quality monitoring is a nice addition to keep track of humidity and air quality on each floor. Great product!

GARBAGE - GROSSLY INACCURATE
Grossly inaccurate! I waited eight (8) months to confirm and rate these devices as: GARBAGEConnectivity has not been an issue. The problem is accuracy. In addition to detecting carbon monoxide, these devices are also supposed to measure temperature, humidity, and TVOCs (total volatile organic compounds)Fortunately, I only own three of these devices. For the past 8 months I have moved these around and constantly recalibrated them to reset them. Since installing, they have been placed in separate (and isolated) areas, in different rooms, and on different floors. After a few weeks, I thought, these things are either terrible, or I'm not using them correctly. So I started paying a lot more attention to them. Way more than should be necessary. To confirm my assumptions, I purchased (several) other brands and designs of devices to provide similar data, specifically, temperature and humidity. Supposedly their air quality readings rely on on temperature, humidity, and TVOCs.All of the other devices show temperature and humidity readings within one degree, one or two degrees and one or two percent relative humidity. The kidde devices are (consistently) off by 5 - 15Β° and the humidity readings are consistently off by up 10 - 20%.The TVOCs measurements aren't reliable because of the huge swings in measurements? And eventually, all three of them will have very close to the same number, even though they're completely separate areas that have been isolated at times. I suspect that is because they're on the same network and are able to communicate and share data between devices. The only thing I haven't done is put them on separate networks with a different kidde account to learn if that communication between them is how they eventually all get such similar readings, even when physically isolated. But i'm not going to do that. I've concluded that these devices are a complete waste of money, time, and trouble if it's actually necessary to connect these devices on their own networks so they cannot communicate with any of the other devices or else.It will lead to false, shared data. But even then, they constantly provide inaccurate readings.I now have a lack of confidence in these devices detecting carbon monoxide.Fortunately, we have other devices that detect carbon monoxide as well as smoke and fire. After I finish this review.I'm going to disconnect the kidde devices from the network. Then, I plan to put them in a cardboard box, marked:"Do not use!""Junk!""Garbage!"DisappointedSo disappointing! ,In my experience, Kidde over promises function that they cannot come close to delivering on with these devices. This has caused me to lose, all confidence in any of their items that we have in use throughout our home.Do your own testing within the return window, if you can.In hindsight, I should have gone with my gut and immediately returned all of them when the readings seemed so off. I spent eight months trying to convince myself that these things can't be that bad. That's something I knew in the first two or three weeks!!!!!!

Helpful alerts
When I was buying this, I thought its features were probably an overkill and we may never use all those. But it keeps sending various alerts about VOC levels and other air quality alerts to my iphone. It prompts us to open windows and keep indoors healthier. It even alerts us when it has lost wifi connectivity so it acts as an alert when our wifi is down :-)

Works well and easy to install
I made the hard-to-believe mistake of leaving my car on in the garage and it spooked me so much, that I decided to install a CO2 detector that can alert me if my garage fills with high levels of exhaust fumes. Fortunately, it hasn't gone off since I installed it and I hope that it never will (I'm assuming it works). Believe me, it's not hard to forget to turn off your car, especially with button type ignitions and quiet idling. The detector also senses high temperatures, which I suppose could be useful, but in my case, I live in Florida, so my garage is always hot.

Takes almost a week to calibrate and annoys you with non-emergency notifications - keep looking
Bought this based on the reviews. I've moved to an older place with mostly gas appliances, so I wanted the carbon monoxide detector. I thought the phone app would also be helpful to check on the place when I'm not home or near the unit. The install, while not hard, will not be fun in that you will hear the low battery alarm until it's been plugged in for a while charging. But then it took FIVE days to calibrate. (Note if you have to change the network settings, you have to RESET the unit and RECALIBRATE FOR FIVE DAYS again. ) OK I think, but it will be worth it.Not really. The info you get from the unit is so so, and I only received (annoying/repeated) notifications to write a review and asking me how much I love the unit. The first one made me nervous, thinking there was an emergency. The rest were so annoying I turned off notifications. But that means I don't get emergency notifications - so what's the point, right? So for the time I've had it - 10 days recalibrating, several weeks of annoying non-emergency notifications. For the money I spent, I'm super disappointed. I'm outside of the return window or I would return it and go to a big box store and buy a regular carbon monoxide detector.

Great device
I wish I could've evaluated this better but without phone app, it doesn't give much info other than CO levels. I tried many times to install apps but it keeps crashing.Update: the app finally works and provides good info.
