These plugs are comfortable and work well to soften overly loud sounds such as may be found in the movies or near construction. They help to obscure tv or conversation noise when trying to study or sleep. They muffle but do not completely eliminate. This can be a good thing if you want to hear some of what's going on around you yet need to protect your hearing from intense noise. Read the product description and familiarize yourself with decibel ratings to decide if these are adequate fir you. I keep them in my pocket, desk, purse, backpack and car, everywhere I might need relief from annoying noise. They are cushy soft and expand in your ear canal for a perfect fit. This size package is a great value and should last you along time.

I've had to use earplugs to sleep for the last 25 years-I've tried every kind-these are the most comfortable and the most effective. They are WELL WORTH the money-Especially when you can take a nap, or stay asleep in the wee hours of the morning when one or more of your inconsiderate kids are running around, yelling, and interpretive dancing to the same song over and over while your trying to sleep.They are easy to find on the floor, and if your dog swallows them, they come out appearing totally unchanged (color and form) on the other side-meaning they are very durable. It’s a lot more likely you'll throw them away because they get dirty after they fall to the bottom of that purse you've been meaning to clean, or your cat has stolen one to play with and now it's all wet and full of hair than for any other reason.Plus, if you put one through the wash, you'll get to see something truly magical-how these grow to astounding proportions once water is added... and then you’ll have to throw that one away because there’s no way that’s gonna fit back in your ear.
