Mechanix M-Pact gloves — Abrasion-Resistant Work Gloves (No Cut Rating)

The Mechanix M-Pact gloves give your crew abrasion resistance and grip (this glove carries no ANSI cut rating) in a M-Pact that pairs molded TPR knuckle and finger guards over a reinforced synthetic-leather palm. Before you order, read the full hands-on review or see how it stacks up in the cut-resistant gloves buyer’s guide.

Note this is a grip-and-abrasion glove, not a cut glove: it is sold as impact resistant gloves. If you need a rated cut liner, our ANSI/ISEA 105 cut levels guide and the cut vs impact gloves comparison point you to the right tier.

What the Mechanix M-Pact is for

Reach for the Mechanix M-Pact for machinery, construction, and assembly where impact — not cut — is the hazard. Browse the full cut-resistant gloves range, or the broader hand protection catalog, to line it up against alternatives. For knuckle hazards, the ANSI/ISEA 138 impact standard explains the levels. Not sure where to start? Our how to choose work gloves reference walks through the decision. Buyers also stock these alongside material-handling gloves and search them as TPR knuckle gloves.

Which size should you order?

Sizes S through 2XL. Measure across your palm and check the glove size chart — a cut liner should fit snug so it does not bunch at the fingertips. The how to choose cut gloves by ANSI level walk-through helps you match both the size and the protection tier to your task.

How the Mechanix M-Pact compares

Weigh the Mechanix M-Pact against Mechanix Durahide F9-360, Mechanix Original, Mechanix Pursuit D5. For a rated cut liner instead, see the cut-resistant gloves collection and the cut vs impact comparison; for impact, the impact-resistant gloves line. The best cut-resistant gloves guide ranks the full field so you can see where this pick lands.

Safety note: Cut and impact gloves reduce — but never eliminate — injury risk, and they are not rated against a chemical splash hazard, solvents, or live electrical work. Match the glove to a documented hazard assessment and replace any pair once the liner is nicked or worn through.

Ordering FAQ

What ANSI cut level is the Mechanix M-Pact?
It is not ANSI cut-rated — it is an abrasion-and-grip glove. For sharp edges, choose a rated cut glove instead. Cut ratings describe lab cut resistance, not a cut-proof guarantee.

Is the Mechanix M-Pact in stock and ready to ship?
Yes — this listing is active and ships through Amazon. Select your size to see live availability and shipping speed.

What size of the Mechanix M-Pact should I order?
Sizes S through 2XL. Measure across your palm and use the glove size chart; a cut liner should fit snug, not loose.

Can I order the Mechanix M-Pact by the case?
Most sizes ship by the pair or by the box; bulk and case options appear on the linked Amazon listing for each size.

What tasks is the Mechanix M-Pact the right pick for?
It is built for machinery, construction, and assembly where impact — not cut — is the hazard. Match it to your hazard assessment before relying on it.

Does the Mechanix M-Pact work with touchscreens?
Yes — the fingertips are touchscreen-capable.

How is the Mechanix M-Pact different from a disposable glove?
This is a reusable work glove with a knit or leather build, not a single-use disposable. It is washed and reused, not discarded after one task.

Is the Mechanix M-Pact heat-resistant?
No — it is not a heat glove. For hot surfaces, choose a dedicated heat-resistant glove.

Does the Mechanix M-Pact have impact protection?
Yes — it carries back-of-hand TPR impact guards rated to ANSI/ISEA 138.

How do I reorder the Mechanix M-Pact later?
Reorder by the model number shown in the specifications above, or return to this page and select your size again.

Should I buy the Mechanix M-Pact or step up a cut tier?
If you face any sharp edges, skip this grip glove and order a rated cut glove instead.

Where can I read an independent review of the Mechanix M-Pact?
See our full hands-on review, linked at the top of this page, for build notes, pros and cons, and how it compares to the rest of the lineup.

Best Work Gloves – Bought Them Twice!
This is the second time I’ve bought the Mechanix Wear M-Pact Work Gloves, and for good reason! These gloves are hands down the best I’ve ever used for tough jobs. The impact protection and vibration absorption are top-notch, and they’ve really helped reduce hand fatigue, especially when using heavy tools or working with machinery. The fit is perfect—I got the Large size, and they fit my hands snugly without being too tight. The secure Velcro closure keeps the gloves in place during all kinds of work, whether I’m on a construction site, doing yard work, or working on my car. The padding is great without feeling bulky, and I still have excellent dexterity for more detailed tasks. The durability is also outstanding. My first pair lasted me a long time, and even after all the wear and tear, they still held up well. That’s why I had no hesitation in buying them again. Plus, the black and grey design looks sharp! If you’re looking for reliable work gloves that offer excellent protection and comfort, these are the ones to get. Highly recommend!

These gloves are nice and comfortable. Love the color and design of the rubber covering. You can use your phone with glove on. Grip is good with some padding on the palm side

The gold standard for affordable work gloves
These gloves are great and have been my go-to for well over a decade. As long as you follow the sizing charts, they will fit right. Mine fit like... well, a glove. The added protection for the knuckles does slightly restrict your movement slightly, personally I find the trade-off to be well worth the added protection. The amount of times I've prevented myself from busting my hand open countless times working in my tight engine bay, and couldn't imagine working without them. The touch screen finger tips work flawlessly, and let me check videos on part replacement with ease. You could pay extra to be "tacti-cool", but if what you're doing is working and getting dirty, the standard gloves will do you just fine. When I inevitably cut these open, or wear them thin, I will absolutely come back for another pair. These go on sale from time to time, so you can absolutely get a better deal if you're looking to replace an older pair.

Good quality
I bought a medium which fits a little bigger than a previous medium size of the same brand that I bought. However, theses gloves are comfortable and easy to work with

Best-Fitting, Most Reliable Work Gloves I’ve Used
These Mechanix M-Pact gloves are by far my favorite work gloves. I’ve tried so many other brands where I constantly had to size up or down, and even then the fit was never quite right. These, however, fit almost perfectly — snug enough to be comfortable, flexible enough to move freely, and secure enough that I can work without constantly adjusting them.I use them in a tough work environment, and they’ve protected my hands from cuts, scrapes, and small impacts more times than I can count. The durability is excellent, and they hold up well even with daily use. They’re easy to take on and off, breathable enough that my hands don’t get overly sweaty, and I love that they’re touchscreen capable so I don’t have to remove them to use my phone or work devices.Honestly, my only issue isn’t the glove — it’s me. I keep losing them. If I could change one thing, it would be for Mechanix to add some kind of small loop or attachment point so I could clip them to a key ring or carabiner when I’m not wearing them.Overall, they’re extremely comfortable, durable, and offer great protection. 100% worth the price and easily the best pair I’ve owned.

Not good gloves, but great gloves.
I bought large and am a large and they fit fine. You want that really tight second skin feeling though then go a size smaller. Padding and knuckle coverage is fine. Best riding gloves I have had in a while at a good price. The cheap ones don't last, these feel thick and like they will last a while. The screen touch on the index fingers and thumbs works fine. Only thing I would do differently is gone step up with the hard shell knuckles on the same brand. Highly recommend this brand. If you are military or prior service, these will feel really familiar.

Important Fit Feedback (Sizing Is Off)
I ordered the Large size expecting it to fit like other gloves I own, but honestly it feels much larger than a standard Large — almost like an XL. It’s roomy to the point of being loose, which affects the snug fit and control I expected from this style of work glove. A more accurate size chart would’ve helped — or else they should bump the sizing down. No wonder the Medium size costs more but might actually fit as a true Large!Everything else about the glove feels solid — the impact protection, material quality, and touchscreen capability are decent — but the sizing is misleading and needs correction. If you’re between sizes or want a snug fit for detail work, consider sizing down.
