The Radians Safety Glasses listing is an ANSI Z87.1 value eyewear range spanning the Extremis, Revelation shooting glasses, foam-lined, and lightweight wraparound styles, in smoke, indoor/outdoor, silver mirror, and polarized lens options selected on the listing β€” impact eye protection, not chemical-splash goggles.

Why the Radians Safety Glasses range covers many roles from one listing

Some programs want to pick the frame and lens per role without hunting across a dozen product pages. The Radians Safety Glasses listing does that: one ANSI Z87.1 range that spans the Extremis, the Revelation shooting glasses, a foam-lined style, and lightweight wraparound frames, with smoke, indoor/outdoor, silver mirror, and polarized lenses selected on the page. It is positioned as high-value ANSI eyewear, so a mixed crew can standardize on the range while matching the style and tint to each job. As safety glasses go, this is the value multi-style pick, and the best safety glasses guide and the ANSI Z87.1 guide explain the markings. It fits many roles from a single range.

Safety first: these are impact eye protection β€” they are not a sealed barrier for a chemical splash hazard. Even the foam-lined style blocks only incidental splash, not a full chemical splash; for that, wear D3-rated splash goggles or a face shield over your primary eyewear. Confirm the Z87 marking for the specific style you select, and match the lens tint to the light. See the glasses vs goggles guide for the splash decision.

What the Radians Safety Glasses listing documents

From the published listing: an ANSI Z87.1 eyewear range; multiple styles including the Extremis, Revelation shooting glasses, a foam-lined style, and lightweight wraparounds; and smoke, indoor/outdoor, silver mirror, and polarized lenses, with anti-fog on some. These are true value safety glasses and wraparound safety glasses credentials in a z87 safety glasses range. Confirm the specific style and Z87 marking on the listing.

How the Radians Safety Glasses compare to other eye protection

For a frameless wide-view glass, the Crossfire ES4; for integrated side shields, the Magid Y50; for a premium anti-fog glass, the Magid Y880; for a Z87+ and ballistic glass for range use, the Pyramex Venture II; and for a sealed splash goggle, the DeWalt DPG82 Concealer. The safety glasses buyer's guide covers the range.

Choosing the right lens and eye protection

Match the style, lens tint, and coating to the role. Browse the eye protection and anti-fog safety glasses collections; for tint choices, the clear vs smoke guide and the polarized vs non-polarized guide; and for the indoor/outdoor lens, the indoor-outdoor vs clear guide.

Where it fits by job and crew orders

The Radians range suits mixed crews, outdoor work, and shooting-range use where one value listing covers several frame and lens needs β€” see the outdoor eyewear guide and the shooting-range eyewear guide for the Revelation styles. Buying the frame and lens per role from one range simplifies procurement and keeps a crew on a consistent, ANSI-marked platform instead of a drawer of mismatched glasses. Confirm the specific style and Z87 marking on the listing, and retire the glasses when the lens is scratched enough to impair vision, since damaged eyewear no longer protects as rated. For crew orders, quantity purchasing runs through a free Amazon Business account β€” volume pricing, PO numbers at checkout, and tax-exempt eligibility for qualifying organizations, with the walkthrough linked in our footer.

Inexpensive, sturdy, safe, comfy & inexpensive! Just as good as the pricey ones!
As long as it has safety rated lenses, these glasses are just as good as the expensive ones! Always check the safety ratings, because their are pairs of these for sale that have no ratings. And some have the same rating at a neddless 5 times the price! The ones I got DO have the rating. That is ANSI Z87.1+ I ordered the two pair deal. The foam around the eye is comfy, the plastic is clear and fairly scratch proof. My husband loves these for his landscaping job, they keep rocks and debris from getting between the glasses and the eyes/face. Came with a strap to keep it in place but they fit so well, he didn't need it. He has been wearing these for years and the safety plastic has saved his eyes from getting hit with rocks. Great glasses! Why pay more? What nevertheless rating on these is all you need. Motorcyclists also use these on the road and they are a must if you want to preserve your eyesight! We had trouble finding them (first pair was from a small engine repair shop (mowers, etc). My husband showed me the glasses and told me where he got them. I could not find them using that search criteria, I found them when I searched for "motorcycle safety glasses".These glasses are great safety glasses no matter what you decide to where them for!The one I bought were clear with the ANSI safety rating of Z87.1+ StandardsThese also provide 99.9% uv protection. My husband says no matter how hot it is or how much he sweats, they do not fog. The foam will get eaten up from your sweat after a few years. That's awesome fir 6+ dollars a pair! Also, it has good side protection, can be worn over smaller prescription glasses, they are comfortable for long wear (about 4 hours at a time or more). No need for replacement lenses, just go buy another pair of these. The lenses are shatter resistant according to the ANSI Z87.1+ STANDARD.CLEAN WITH DAWN SOAP AND CLEAN FINGERS. RUB GENTLY AND RINSE UNDER A GENTLE STREAM. DAB DRY - DO NOT RUB. OUT IN THE FIELD - RINSE WITH WATER AND USE A VERY SOFT CLOTH TO DAB DRY OR RUB GENTLY AFTER DEBRIS IS RINSED AWAY.THESE are scratch resistant but better dafe than sorry. My husband had his for 2+ years and rubbed them clean in the field with minimal scratches.Notepads are not adjustable. No need. Though. My husband has a big nose and he has no problem with these whatsoever. Store in a regular felt dollar store glasses case. Don't apply anti fog chemicals. These don't really fog.If the frame or the lenses gets damaged throw them away immediately and get a new set. 6 dollars a pair is relatively inexpensive.Note that the more expensive ones that have the same Ansi ratings are pretty much the same glasses. I have seen these prices over 50 bucks, some over 99 bucks. Read the description! Unless there is something about the expensive ones that is a documented safety addition that is costly, do not buy them - get these. Comfy, safe and sturdy. The rest are just jacked up price-wise. At the very least, research before you purchase and remember that some of these bad reviews are for something other than this exact product. I always look at the worst reviews and the best reviews. I ignore the short reviews and believe the long reviews that don't sound like a commercial! Like my review - and why? Because I depend on goid honest reviews! Two word reviews or bad reviews because the delivery went south or the color was wrong do not count! Research, read reviews and use your head! That is how you save money and purchase the best you can afford!

super comfy, don't breathe well but otherwise perfect
excellent safety glasses for comfort and blocking sun. they can get a little warm as the cushioning is thick and lets little moisture in or out, but assuming you take em off for a sec ever so often then they are otherwise perfect.

Best goggles I have found
I work a lot in fabrication shops and I wear contact lenses so good safety goggles are crucial. I have tried countless pairs of goggles and most of them constantly fog up making it hard to see what I’m doing, especially when worn with a partical mask or respirator. If they don’t fog up it’s usually because they are wide open on the sides so they aren’t as protective. These glasses strike the perfect balance; fog resistance, a protective β€œseal” around each eye (though not a total seal like swim goggles, and they fit easily with a respirator. These glasses have foam strip on the inside of the frames around each lens so that they have all around protection from dust and debri. The foam also provides a bit if cushion if you get whacked in the face which I appreciate because I have eyebrow and anti-eyebrow piercings and when most glasses get bumped into my face it hits my piercings and it hurts. That’s not an issue with these glasses thanks to the close fit and the foam strip. These are durable, comfortable and dare I say it - stylish. I will definitely be buying more in the future.

Great add on to get to free shipping.
These are a life saver. They have prevented so much crap from getting at my eyes over the time I have been buying them and using them. Prices here on Amazon, especially when on sale, means I usually buy a handful, or use them to up the price to free shipping. I’ve got these in the garage, the car, the β€œmarksman” bag. I’ve used them to clear overgrowth while trimming, oil changes, labidary work, marksmanship activity, grinding on something, you name it. The padding helps keep debris out, and they don’t tend to scratch or fog up too easily. At the price, if one gets too overused, it’s not a huge loss to toss that pair and grab another. The band is comfy on my medium to small sized head, and they fit my oval shaped face well. Like a nice set of shades, but for protection.

AMAZING in blocking harsh winds!
I was searching for glasses to wear in the harsh windy winters. I had used a pair of sun-glasses that weren't that dark for years and years for that purpose as they truly form fit my face with their large lenses and wraparound style and sort of sealed out ALL the wind. They were perfect - except that I had to pay extra attention when walking around at night because they were tinted. Plus there was that one windy night after dinner out where my date asked me if I was trying to hide from the paparazzi or something… Then my magic wind sunglasses finally broke. : (I ordered this pair and another pair from another brand that people rated well for wind - and hoped for the best. The other pair sucked but the vendor was amazing - so no loss there. But these - these are 'almost' perfect. In extreme winds - like 60 mph - without wearing my hood some wind still gets in from the sides of the glasses. If both sides were bent back a bit more from the nose back - they would probably be perfect. In fact I keep bending my pair right at the nose a bit every day I use them - hoping that over time they will conform more to my face and fully block the wind at the sides of my eyes. Also if the side arms, at the front anyway, were also almost as wide as the front of the glasses (as my old sunglasses were) – that would probably fix the flaw with extreme side wind. But then again these are β€œsafety glasses” and not β€œwind glasses”…Besides that for head on strong wind as well as generally windy days – they REALLY do work. And wearing these with my hood up to block crazy wind from the side – I am unstoppable!I also LOVE the clear lenses - as I have no issue now when walking around at night. In fact yesterday was 50 mile per hour winds - with batches of pelting rain. These saved me!!!! Especially in rain or snow – these will keep all that junk out of your eyes when walking around. And I walk around a LOT – easily at least 4 miles every day – regardless of weather usually. A life-saver!And not to brag – but people think I look much younger than I am. I give a lot of credit to β€˜not squinting’. Think about it... Plus I wear sunglasses most of the year – blocks sun ageing – but you also then do not squint in bright sun either. Same with wind – I ALWAYS wear glasses to block the wind and rain and snow and hence never have to squint. Uh oh - now my secret is out...
