The MCR Safety Checklite CL1N carries ANSI/ISEA Z87.1+ certification, the highest tier of the occupational eye protection standard. The Z87+ marking indicates the lens and frame have passed the High Velocity test — a 1/4-inch steel ball fired at 150 fps — on top of the standard drop-ball and optical quality requirements. This rating makes the CL1N suitable for compliance with OSHA 1910.133 (general industry) and OSHA 1926.102 (construction).

Polycarbonate as a lens material inherently exceeds ANSI Z87.1 impact minimums; the coating tier (Standard, Duramass, or UV Anti-Fog) does not affect the impact rating. All CL1N variants carry the same Z87.1+ impact certification regardless of which coating is ordered.
