It is the hooded flagship of the tyvek 400 coveralls line β€” the default among tyvek suits with hood, and the reason dupont tyvek coveralls are the category benchmark.

What the DuPont Tyvek 400 TY127S Coverall is for

Order it for dry particulate work β€” lead, mold, insulation, and general remediation. It belongs to the disposable coveralls collection, and pairs on the job with mold remediation respirators and the respirator your hazard names β€” start with the when do you need a respirator guide and the respiratory protection collection. For particulate-heavy trades, the respirator for drywall sanding guide and best respirator for asbestos guide cover the matching lung protection, and remediation crews can match cartridges via the mold remediation cartridge guide.

Which size should you order?

We stock the dupont tyvek 400 ty127s coverall in one configuration; the linked Amazon listing carries the manufacturer’s size run. Disposable coveralls layer over work clothes, so order one size over your street size β€” an undersized suit loads the crotch and shoulder seams and tears mid-shift. Between sizes, go up. Employers selecting under OSHA 1910.132 should size for the full range of workers on the task.

How the DuPont Tyvek 400 TY127S Coverall compares

Cross-shop it against KleenGuard A60 Bloodborne Pathogen & Chemical Splash Coverall, KleenGuard A70 Hooded Chemical Spray Protection Coverall, 3M 4515 Disposable Protective Coverall, DuPont Tychem 2000 Hooded Chemical Splash Coverall. If the exposure escalates, step up to the DuPont Tychem 2000; if the hazard is lighter than this suit is built for, the DuPont Tyvek 400 TY125S costs less. The Tyvek vs Tychem reference and disposable coverall types reference explain the fabric ladder.

Safety note: match this garment to your hazard assessment. A suit rated for dry particulates is not chemical splash hazard protection, and no disposable coverall substitutes for engineering controls, arc-rated clothing, or supplied-air systems where those are required.

Ordering FAQ

Which size of the DuPont Tyvek 400 TY127S Coverall should I order?
The linked Amazon listing carries the manufacturer's size run. Order one size over your street clothes β€” coveralls layer over workwear, and sizing up protects the seams when you crouch or reach.

Is the DuPont Tyvek 400 TY127S Coverall in stock and ready to ship?
Yes β€” this listing is active and ships through Amazon. Open the linked listing to see live availability, size options, and delivery speed.

How many suits come in a pack of the DuPont Tyvek 400 TY127S Coverall?
Pack count is shown on the linked Amazon listing β€” some configurations ship as single suits and others as multi-suit cases.

Can I order the DuPont Tyvek 400 TY127S Coverall in bulk for a crew?
Yes. The linked listing shows the pack tier, and you can mix sizes across an order β€” crews rarely fit one size.

What jobs is the DuPont Tyvek 400 TY127S Coverall the right pick for?
Order it for dry particulate work β€” lead, mold, insulation, and general remediation. If your hazard is different, the disposable coveralls collection carries the full ladder from breathable particle suits to taped-seam chemical barriers.

What should I wear with the DuPont Tyvek 400 TY127S Coverall?
Complete the kit: gloves matched to the hazard, eye protection, and the respirator your assessment names β€” the mold remediation respirators and respiratory protection pages cover the pairings.

Does the DuPont Tyvek 400 TY127S Coverall come in other colors?
This listing is white. Color signals garment class by convention β€” white for particulate suits, yellow for chemical garments, blue for biological and site-visibility roles.

How do I reorder the DuPont Tyvek 400 TY127S Coverall later?
Reorder from this page β€” the product listing and its linked Amazon ASIN stay constant, so a repeat order takes seconds.

Should I buy the DuPont Tyvek 400 TY127S Coverall or a different coverall?
If your work matches dry particulate work, this is the right tier. Escalating exposure points to the DuPont Tychem 2000; lighter duty points to the DuPont Tyvek 400 TY125S. Our buyer's guide ranks all ten suits we stock.

Can I wear the DuPont Tyvek 400 TY127S Coverall more than once?
Treat it as single-use. Once worn against the hazard it was selected for, it comes off at the work boundary and is disposed of per the governing standard.

Do I need to tape the wrists and ankles on the DuPont Tyvek 400 TY127S Coverall?
For regulated work (asbestos, lead, biological), yes β€” elastic interfaces seal approximately, and taping the glove and boot junctions is standard practice. For casual dust work the elastic alone is typically fine.

Does the DuPont Tyvek 400 TY127S Coverall include boots or shoe covers?
No β€” it ends at elastic or open ankles. For abatement work, choose a hood-and-boots suit like the DuPont Tyvek 400 TY122S or ProShield 10 PB122S.

Where can I read an independent review before ordering the DuPont Tyvek 400 TY127S Coverall?

Works as designed
An inexpensive protective coverall. I have used it repeatedly to spray foam insulation and it has been very helpful and effective. It keeps me clean and protected completely. A good investment for little money.

Very High Quality for the Money
I know these have to be advertised as "one and done" disposable suits thanks to the American legal system. At this price that is ok. I reuse mine when I spray stain on fences and when I treat my fruit trees with herbicide. My wife washes it on gentle and then I hang it up to air dry. These are extremely high quality for the price. I wear a 2x shirt and the 2x suit fit just fine, with a little wiggle room left.

for ~$10 it's pretty solid.
Full disclosure; mine was free because the vendor cut a hole in it with a box opener when they opened the larger package of these. However, while it works very well, I tore a fairly big hole in the crotch area when I crouched down to work on something. I realize that you get what you pay for but I would have expected Tyvek to be a bit stronger than that. Still, for ~$10 it's pretty solid.

Nice "Spacesuit"
Fit and function was good. Lasted for four 4-hour spraying sessions. Expect to sweat with it on if working in the sun...but that's to be suspected since it is made of Tyvex. Elastics on arms and legs kept the sleeves and legs in place. Saved me from lots of cleanup. A definite buy again.

Great protection, durable, good sizing
I used this coverall for spraying an oil-based deck stain on the underside of a large deck that only had crawl space underneath it, along with safety goggles and a respirator because a lot of the spray came back down on me. The coverall kept the stain from penetrating to my clothes, and it didn't rip with crawling around on the dirt, while my previous coverall (different brand) did rip. The only issue is that it is warm, and so overheating and sweating is a problem on a hot day. I found that a cloth headcover for spray painting was better than the coverall hood because the cloth absorbed sweat, while the coverall hood let the sweat run into my eyes.

Almost Perfect
The Tyvek material is high quality and resists tearing and liquid penetration far better than the cheap store brand ones available at the orange warehouse place. The fit for this in an XXL is also more generous than the cheap one's from the orange store. These are fine for walking and working upright only. If you need to squat or worse yet crawl around and work under something for long periods of time the inseam between the legs in the crotch area will tear. This being said these lasted far longer than the cheap orange store ones that in my experience will tear apart instantly when squatting. Also the sleeves in this XXL size were somewhat short so when reaching overhead a gap will appear between a wrist glove line and the end of the sleeves so whatever you are for example spraying will get all over your arms, run inside the sleeve area, etc.Final thoughts: Had they sized these with some extra room in the crotch area to accommodate more free movement and made the sleeves a bit longer they'd be perfect.

Great emergency suit to keep warm and dry
Great emergency suit to keep in your car to keep dry and warm. Also works great when cleaning out a dirty garage to avoid getting dusty and bitten by spiders. Can get a little warm on hot days. Best when it is cool....Breathes pretty good too.

Good for the price
For the price it was a good buy. I've used it twice (after hand washing) for plumbing issues we've had to go under the house and it was relatively comfortable and easy to put on and take off.

Do you need protection when it comes to working on projects such as sanding, or any other things that would cause harm to your body. Well then you will need these coveralls. I got these due to I do some sanding on glass projects and I don't like getting the glass onto my body as well as the chemicals. I also don't want the stuff getting into my hair so these cover up my hair as well so I am covered from head to toe which makes me feel safe. This suit is very comfortable as well as they keep my clothes protected so that nothing get on them either.
