The tychem 6000 coverall gives you a Tychem 6000 barrier film on polypropylene barrier purpose-built for concentrated or poorly characterized chemical exposure needing the widest holdout list in a disposable garment. It comes with attached hood, taped seams, storm flap, and elastic wrists and ankles, in gray β€” read the full hands-on review before you order, or compare the whole field in our disposable coveralls buyer’s guide.

What the DuPont Tychem 6000 Coverall is for

Order it for concentrated or poorly characterized chemical exposure needing the widest holdout list in a disposable garment. It belongs to the disposable coveralls collection, and pairs on the job with chemical-resistant gloves and the respirator your hazard names β€” start with the when do you need a respirator guide and the respiratory protection collection. For particulate-heavy trades, the respirator for drywall sanding guide and best respirator for asbestos guide cover the matching lung protection, and remediation crews can match cartridges via the mold remediation cartridge guide.

Which size should you order?

We stock the tychem 6000 coverall in one configuration; the linked Amazon listing carries the manufacturer’s size run. Disposable coveralls layer over work clothes, so order one size over your street size β€” an undersized suit loads the crotch and shoulder seams and tears mid-shift. Between sizes, go up. Employers selecting under OSHA 1910.132 should size for the full range of workers on the task.

How the DuPont Tychem 6000 Coverall compares

Cross-shop it against KleenGuard A60 Bloodborne Pathogen & Chemical Splash Coverall, KleenGuard A70 Hooded Chemical Spray Protection Coverall, 3M 4515 Disposable Protective Coverall, DuPont Tychem 2000 Hooded Chemical Splash Coverall. If the exposure escalates, step up to the disposable coveralls collection; if the hazard is lighter than this suit is built for, the DuPont Tychem 4000 costs less. The Tyvek vs Tychem reference and disposable coverall types reference explain the fabric ladder.

Safety note: match this garment to your hazard assessment. A suit rated for dry particulates is not chemical splash hazard protection, and no disposable coverall substitutes for engineering controls, arc-rated clothing, or supplied-air systems where those are required.

Ordering FAQ

Which size of the DuPont Tychem 6000 Coverall should I order?
The linked Amazon listing carries the manufacturer's size run. Order one size over your street clothes β€” coveralls layer over workwear, and sizing up protects the seams when you crouch or reach.

Is the DuPont Tychem 6000 Coverall in stock and ready to ship?
Yes β€” this listing is active and ships through Amazon. Open the linked listing to see live availability, size options, and delivery speed.

How many suits come in a pack of the DuPont Tychem 6000 Coverall?
Pack count is shown on the linked Amazon listing β€” some configurations ship as single suits and others as multi-suit cases.

Can I order the DuPont Tychem 6000 Coverall in bulk for a crew?
Yes. The linked listing shows the pack tier, and you can mix sizes across an order β€” crews rarely fit one size.

What jobs is the DuPont Tychem 6000 Coverall the right pick for?
Order it for concentrated or poorly characterized chemical exposure needing the widest holdout list in a disposable garment. If your hazard is different, the disposable coveralls collection carries the full ladder from breathable particle suits to taped-seam chemical barriers.

What should I wear with the DuPont Tychem 6000 Coverall?
Complete the kit: gloves matched to the hazard, eye protection, and the respirator your assessment names β€” the chemical-resistant gloves and respiratory protection pages cover the pairings.

Does the DuPont Tychem 6000 Coverall come in other colors?
This listing is gray. Color signals garment class by convention β€” white for particulate suits, yellow for chemical garments, blue for biological and site-visibility roles.

How do I reorder the DuPont Tychem 6000 Coverall later?
Reorder from this page β€” the product listing and its linked Amazon ASIN stay constant, so a repeat order takes seconds.

Should I buy the DuPont Tychem 6000 Coverall or a different coverall?
If your work matches concentrated or poorly characterized chemical exposure needing the widest holdout list in a disposable garment, this is the right tier. Escalating exposure points to the disposable coveralls collection; lighter duty points to the DuPont Tychem 4000. Our buyer's guide ranks all ten suits we stock.

Can I wear the DuPont Tychem 6000 Coverall more than once?
Treat it as single-use. Once worn against the hazard it was selected for, it comes off at the work boundary and is disposed of per the governing standard.

Do I need to tape the wrists and ankles on the DuPont Tychem 6000 Coverall?
For regulated work (asbestos, lead, biological), yes β€” elastic interfaces seal approximately, and taping the glove and boot junctions is standard practice. For casual dust work the elastic alone is typically fine.

Does the DuPont Tychem 6000 Coverall include boots or shoe covers?
No β€” it ends at elastic or open ankles. For abatement work, choose a hood-and-boots suit like the DuPont Tyvek 400 TY122S or ProShield 10 PB122S.

Where can I read an independent review before ordering the DuPont Tychem 6000 Coverall?
See our full DuPont Tychem 6000 Coverall review for the spec-grounded write-up, pros and cons, and comparisons against the rest of the lineup.

Great Budget Suit
I honestly dont know why more people haven't bought this. I think its a great budget hazmat suit its made of the same materials as MIRA safety and feels great to wear. Im very surprised that this suit was actually this great for this cheap. Its for someone who is 6'5 but im 5'7 and I can still wear it just with some extra suit hanging from the legs but its still a full suits and if your just get some gloves and a gas mask you are set for most emergencies that could happen.
