The CT-580 detects carbon monoxide (CO) only — not H2S, O2 or combustibles. For a sealed 2-year industrial CO clip, compare the Honeywell BW Clip CO; for several gases on one worker, the BW GasAlertMicroClip XL. It is a personal-awareness monitor, not a confined-space pre-entry tool — for entry testing use a Portable Gas Detectors 4-gas instrument.
