Easy to pair and blocks sound
I picked these up just in time for there to be some construction work in my neighborhood. They did a good job reducing the noise, and were comfortable enough to wear for an hour or two at a time. Any longer than that and the pressure applied onto the crus helix of the ear by the part of the earbud that sits outside the ear canal starts to be too much. However, it should be noted that my ears are very good at hurting due to literally anything.It was really easy to pair these to my phone and also my computer, and I like that the name that shows up in the Bluetooth menu on those devices is specific and descriptive (WorkTunes In-Ear), so that I'm not left guessing whether I'm connecting to the right thing. If multiple people in one area had these same earbuds, I think it could potentially be a problem.The sound quality is decidedly fine.

Disappointing Fit — Not Worth It for Active Use
really wanted to like these. The idea of Bluetooth hearing protection for yard work and job sites is genuinely useful, and the feature list looked great on paper. Unfortunately, the execution was a total let down.My biggest issue was fit — these would not stay in my ears regardless of which of the three included tip sizes I tried. For something meant to be worn during physical activity (mowing and using power tools in my shop), that's a dealbreaker. They also feel much heavier and bulkier than expected, which didn't help matters. Even the controller on the wire of the earbuds was extra clunky and heavy, making everything feel imbalanced. Completely uncomfortable!If they stayed put, the sound protection and wireless connectivity would make them a solid option. But if you move at all or hate having to keep re-inserting your earplugs throughout the day, I'd suggest skipping these (or trying them somewhere with a good return policy before committing. They heavy enough to feel durable or formidable, though I admit my trial period wasn't long it was so annoying having to keep put those earplugs back in. Don't recommend.

A good attempt that would benefit from more testing and development
A lot of work I do requires a hardhat, and a large percentage of the time I'm wearing one, I also am required to use Hearing Protection (usually those squishable foam-rubber plugs, but I also use some reusable airsoft type ones.) If you are going to use these, please verify what your local PPE rules are, specifically regarding being able to hear external sounds, before you use them (like I did) to listen to music -- the Noise Reduction (passive) is not bad, just from the inserts themselves (and there are several sizes to allow for a good fit with different sized ears), but when you add music to it, I found it did an excellent job of blocking out most external noise -- and your local safety rules may frown on that.That said, they are a neat idea -- the magnetic clasping effect allows you to carry them easily, basically like a necklace. Despite what other's have said, I found the sound quality very good, for the music I played over them. But the real issue seems to be that they aren't really designed for an active workplace: Even fit correctly, they can come out of your ears fairly easily, primarily because the control box adds a little extra weight, and it's just hanging from your ear. I ended up using some double sided tape to stick it to my hardhat (after a less successful attempt to stick it to an arm of my glasses), and that worked, but effectively tethered them to my hardhat, ever after. A longer cable and a clip to hook on your shirt or something similar, so the weight wasn't resting on the earbud stuck in your ear would go a long way toward improving these.That said, after I used the tape, the stayed in place well, the battery lasted (with intermittent use) for a whole 8 hour shift, and the earbuds themselves were comfortable, despite the tendency to fall out when I turned too quickly. They are also very '3M', in that they look and feel durable, made from materials that don't expect to be coddled -- I dropped them a number of times (again, turning around too quickly) and they were fine, despite the 6 foot fall to concrete.Are they worth the price? Well, if your safety rules will allow them I think so -- they could just be significantly improved with some small tweaks.

If you plan to use loud equipment and expect to hear anything from these, you are mistaken. On my lawn mower I could not hear audio conversation from a podcast at full volume. Yard Work Earbuds: Great Sound with Just Enough Noise Reduction
Wanted something I could wear while doing yard work that would also help take down some of the noise, mainly when mowing. These fit the bill. The 19dB NRR doesn't block everything out, which is actually what I was after since I still need to hear what's going on around me. Almost no noise cnacellation
I got these to use in my work shop to filter out the noise from various equipment that I use. These were an epic fail for that. They come with different size tips that are supposed to fit in your ear canal to block external noise. None of the tips worked for me. You're supposed to shove these deep into your ear canal and that should filter out external noise. The only ones I could get to sort of fit were the small ones but they did almost nothing. Also it was very uncomfortable with these pushed way in. Everyone's ears are different so your experience could be way different from mine.I have three other sets of Bluetooth earbuds\headsets and these had the shortest range before cutting out compared to the others.On the positive side the build quality is very good. The buttons are large and easy to use. I'm not an audiophile but these sound really good to me. I also like the magnets in the earbuds that allow then to stay connected to each other when you just have them hanging on you neck.I really wanted these to work. Hopefully others will have a better experience than me. 3M is known for making quality products. In fact I use 3M Peltor headsets for cancelling noise and they are excellent. I was just hoping that these smaller and lighter could have replaced them.
