The concept is good.
It should have adhesive around the edge of the entire mask what happens is when you're in a high dust environment the dust gets behind it and you've got the same thing. Also scratches very easily so when you clean them a few times your visibility that has really diminished. If you use water to clean the dust off the water will get behind the film and render it useless until you clean it also. So you end up having to put painters tape around the film. Once you clean the mask itself in a high dust environment you're scratching it and you're really defeating the purpose of the protective film to begin with.
