Excellent hood not great papr
I am extremely pleased with the hood it's has amazing view area super clean and crisp transition in twilight mode. Doesn't weigh that much. Now the paper system. Idk if I got a bum unit or they are just this weak. But thier a little to no pressure from it. It says it more powerful that the esab unit and I can say that isn't true. My co worker has the esab and it has fa more power. The high setting on the optrel is the low setting on the esab. I have reach out to optrel but I haven't heard anything yet I'll update as time goes. But I have had this about 2 wks now. Another thing is if you were expecting to get the bag don't. I never received it with the order I only got my hood and paper unit.Update. So optrel was super awesome sent me out a whole new paper with battery n all. The units them selves are just super weak for air pressure. They are also rathe heavy they put quite a strain on the belt if you can I would buy the shoulder straps for it. The unit can get in the way if working in tight space. Big issue is the hose hair free hanging it's goes wherever it wants and sometimes that right onto the hot metal. So put a sleeve on it and call it good. It does the job so I can't complain thier but lie previously said the air output is very weak. And it is a heavier bulky item but it makes a huge difference on the lungs. No more head aches or blowing black outta the nose.
