The MSA GMD-P100 Combination Cartridge (SKU 815181) integrates ammonia and methylamine vapor protection with P100 (99.97% efficiency) particulate filtration in a single bayonet-mount unit for the MSA Comfo half-mask respirator platform. It is suited for industrial refrigeration maintenance, agricultural facilities, and chemical operations where both ammonia vapors and particulate hazards — such as grain dust, fertilizer dust, or aerosols — are concurrently present. Compatible with the Advantage 200 LS, Comfo Classic, and Comfo II respirators.

Construction and Filter Media

The GMD-P100 uses the same chemically impregnated sorbent as the standalone GMD cartridge for ammonia and methylamine capture, combined with a P100 filter layer positioned in series upstream of the chemical sorbent. The P100 layer captures particulates before they can reach and foul the impregnated sorbent bed. Both the sorbent and filter media are housed in the standard Comfo bayonet-mount shell. No organic vapor or acid gas sorbent is included — the GMD-P100's chemical protection is specific to ammonia and methylamine.
