Can this face shield be worn on its own?
No. Under ANSI/ISEA Z87.1 a face shield is a SECONDARY protector: it is worn over primary eye protection, not instead of it. Spectacles or goggles go on first; the shield adds face and splash coverage on top.
What does a face shield protect that safety glasses do not?
The rest of the face - cheeks, jaw and the area below the eye - plus the approach path for splash and flying debris. It does not seal, so it is not a substitute for goggles where a chemical splash hazard exists.
What is the difference between Z87 and Z87+?

How much does an anti-fog coating matter?
More than most buyers expect: fogged eyewear gets pushed up onto the forehead, and eye protection on the forehead protects nothing. What is the lens tint for and where should it not be used?

How should the lens be cleaned without ruining it?
