Great for limited use
To be clear - this is for a pack of filters, not the mask and battery kit.The filters have a very long life.Unless you are in a severe environment or an industrial user, it would take a very long time to go through this many filters.I'm using it for personal purposes for home use. It is a general purpose hepa filter great for sawdust from woodworking or sanding, and I even use it for mowing the grass because I have bad allergies, this works so much better than a cloth mask or half face respirator as it filters the air you breathe but also protects your eyes and helps keep you a bit cooler.I've had my PAPR for about 8 years, I'd estimate I use it maybe 4 hours a week doing yardwork and diy projects. I'm only on my 3rd filter.While it isn't recommended by 3m, you can usually turn them upside down (from the air inlet end) and bang out any loose dust and particulates, or gently blow it out in reverse (from the outlet end) to clean it out and get some extra life out of it.
