Really comfortable fit
I've tried about a dozen different respirators, mostly 3M which are never a comfortable fit for my (fairly large I guess) face - they don't stay in place and cause pressure points. I'm constantly trying to re-adjust them not just for comfort but also visibility as they ride up and obscure my view.The Moldex are so much better. They stay in the position where I set them, even when I'm moving around working on a project. No fiddling with the metal nose piece, these just work. i would prefer if they were P100 instead of N99, but i'm not complaining. They seal really well and I don't seem to be breathing any wood dust.

I have a medical background and this mask is a N95 medical mask with a TIGHT FITTING, soft rubber nose piece that is AIRTIGHT. If you cover the vent and inhale hard, it draws into your face indicating a complete air seal. No leakage in or out of the nose piece does not fog up any eye protection. I have been avoiding Co-Vid for 4 years, which would kill me if caught. Kidney transplant, heart bypass, diabetes and 77 YO. Recommend for use as an improved, safer N95 mask.

Genuine NIOSH; heavy-duty construction; easy to breathe
These are the real deal — NIOSH-approved, American-standard N99. Being able to buy these at all in 2020 is a miracle, especially at such a low price. Head straps are tight and breathing is easy. Exhale valve is stickier than I’d like but it works.These respirators have more solid construction than most disposable N95’s, and are larger overall than same-size 3M models. The mask body is sandwiched between layers of a hard-plastic mesh frame that keeps the mask’s shape in high heat/humidity. This also makes the mask harder to speak through than others I’ve tried. Most similar masks use a moldable metal nasal bridge, but this one is solid enough to maintain the molded shape permanently on its own. Instead, the nose bridge is lined with a silicone-like material to reduce irritation.

5 Stars if price hadn't increased by 44% since I last bought them.
Bought these in March 2021 for $45. Now they cost $80 for the same thing November 2023. Not even 2 years and gone up 44% in price. Will be looking somewhere else for my next pack of respirator masks.These fit well and did a good job of filtering out the crap floating around in my attic while doing a lot of work on it. Bought them because I was shredding my old attic insulation which created a ton of fiberglass dust. Plus all the years of dirt, mouse poop, and whatnot. Honestly, I look at the 1 star reviews and many look like competitors trying to reduce their rating.

This reduces heat and moisture buildup inside the mask — a significant comfort advantage during extended or physically demanding wear. Does the valve on the 2310N99 reduce filtration efficiency?
No. The exhalation valve does not affect inhalation filtration efficiency — the 2310N99 still filters inhaled air at the rated N95/R95/P100 level. The valve only controls exhaled air routing.
