The iEvac is the escape hood we chose to stock because of one line on its listing: it is the American-certified smoke/fire hood — third-party certification that the flood of no-name escape masks cannot claim. For a device you will use exactly once, in smoke, certification is the entire purchase decision.

Fits the evacuation layer of a home or workplace fire plan alongside alarms and extinguishers. We deliberately do not stock uncertified escape hoods.
