Works great for me, helps with allergies. I use them to mow (for hours) or clean the barn. The exhalation valve keeps it from being to hot (Florida). I sent a box to a friend for mowing/allergies and he thinks they are great as well. He has a walk behind mower, so the valve is a huge plus for him. As mentioned by another reviewer, the bands can be a little tight. After hours of mowing I will have small indents in my cheeks. However, the masks have never caused me any pain.

Easy to berathe
The fit is very good and since it is softly rigid, it’s easy to shape without having too much edge leakage. The exhale only valve really makes a difference in ease of breathing, but that does mean it only protects the wearer and not those around. Great for dust and fumes but not for preventing the spread of respiratory infection.

Chemical Sensitivities~
I am allergic to smoke and this filters out more fireplace smoke than any other I have tried so far. I use it when working and cleaning in the barn with the animals where ammonia smells can build up. I don't seem to react violently to the materials in the mask either. It fits snugly and is more comfortable because of the vent. I have also found it to be great in freezing temps to keep from breathing so much cold air that makes we wheeze.

The Bad: This respirator does not fit my large head (even after pulling the elastic through the staple to the very end), the four staple points push painfully into your skin, and it does not block all odors.

Do NOT Buy - too tight.
The masks are too tight and very uncomfortable to wear. I have a small face and the elastic bands squeeze my head and give me a headache. There is no way to replace the elastic bands - they are stapled to the mask. I am not sure why a reputable company like 3M is selling a product that can't be worn for more than one minute. Amazon says I have a to call 3M to return/refund/fix mask. Called 3M - they say that they don't have a 3M store on Amazon, they don't take accountability for the product. Called Amazon and they took care of it.

This respirator is good for so many things
This respirator is good for so many things. For mold inside the house, like basement, it works great. To cut the grass outside, I used to be sick with the gasoline smell. Not with this respirator. I am so happy I got this product. We are moving to a brand new house in a two weeks and I want to see how it works with everything new there. So far, so good!
