What to check before you buy
No engine, no exhaust. A battery power station produces no carbon monoxide, so it is the one class of "generator" that is safe to run indoors β the placement and ventilation rules for engine-driven generators do not apply. Size it by watt-hours for runtime and by continuous watts for what it can start, and check whether the chemistry is LiFePO4 (longer cycle life) or NMC.
