The 3M 6000 series is the entry-level half mask with a thermoplastic elastomer facepiece and no Cool Flow valve. The 3M 6500 adds the Quick Latch mechanism and Cool Flow exhalation valve. The 3M 7500 uses a silicone facepiece for maximum comfort during extended wear.
