Moldex Earplugs

Moldex earplugs are among the most trusted names in hearing protection, delivering the industry's highest NRR ratings in some of the most comfortable, easy-to-use designs available. From the iconic SparkPlugs® to the no-roll-required Glide®, Moldex offers a foam earplug for every worker, every industry, and every preference — all manufactured in the USA and free of PVC and harmful plasticizers.

The Moldex earplug lineup is anchored by the SparkPlugs® series, featuring a distinctive bright-colored tapered foam stem that makes insertion fast, clean, and reliable without rolling. SparkPlugs® achieve NRR 33 dB protection — the highest noise reduction rating available for disposable earplugs — making them ideal for manufacturing, stamping, grinding, and other high-decibel applications. They are available in uncorded, corded, metal-detectable, and PlugStation® bulk dispenser configurations to suit virtually every facility's PPE program requirements.

Pura-Fit® earplugs feature an ultra-smooth, skin-friendly foam that compresses easily and expands gradually for a reliable, pressure-free seal. Their contoured shape is engineered to conform to a wide range of ear canal geometries, making them one of the most comfortable all-day wear options in the Moldex lineup. Pura-Fit® also achieves NRR 33 dB and is available in corded, uncorded, and dispenser formats.

For workers in gloved trades or clean environments, the Glide® earplug represents a breakthrough in earplug hygiene. Rather than rolling between dirty fingers, Glide® inserts with a simple twist-and-push motion that requires no pre-compression — meaning workers never touch the foam body with potentially contaminated hands. Glide® provides NRR 30 dB protection and is available in uncorded, corded, and Soothers® moisturizing variants (NRR 31 dB) for workers with sensitive ear canals.

Meteors® earplugs feature a bell-shaped design in two sizes to accommodate the full range of ear canal dimensions. Standard Meteors® (NRR 33 dB) are ideal for workers with average to larger ear canals, while Meteors® Small (NRR 28 dB) are engineered for workers with smaller ear canals who find standard earplugs uncomfortable or difficult to fit. Softies® round out the lineup with an extremely soft, non-irritating foam that is among the gentlest available for workers who experience irritation from standard earplug materials.

Moldex also produces specialty earplugs including Camo Plugs® (NRR 30 dB), Mellows® (NRR 30 dB), Goin' Green® eco-friendly earplugs (NRR 33 dB), and Zebras® (NRR 30 dB) — providing high-visibility color options for facilities with earplug accountability programs or workers who simply prefer a distinctive style.

All Moldex disposable earplugs are available in corded and uncorded variants. Corded earplugs connect the pair with a lightweight tether that prevents loss and keeps earplugs accessible when removed — many facilities require corded earplugs as standard practice. PlugStation® dispensers provide an organized, hygienic bulk dispensing solution for high-traffic PPE stations, available in 500-pair refill configurations.
